Cliff + Evie's Wedding Invitations and Engagement Session
SO...Yesterday I got home, sat down with a good cup of Earl Gray Tea and sorted through my mail...and guess what I just got? My Wedding Invitation for Cliff and Evie's Fall Wedding, designed by Leilani Romero: Creative Wedding Design.
Cliff and Evie are getting married!!! I've known these two lovebirds since my senior year of high school and we have been the best of friends for 5, going on 6 years! Being so close with them for so long, I have gotten to see all the steps of their growing love, and I couldn't be happier for them when they told me they were engaged! C + E: I wish you all the happiness in the world, and I know you two will have a beautiful forever. I cannot wait for your big day!
Getting to be a part of anyone's engagement portraits is always a special experience, but when I got the chance to design their Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations suite...and they first asked me to take their engagement portraits, it was a whole new level of special!
Last fall, I took the happy couples engagement portraits in darling historical Colonial Williamsburg, VA.
We had perfect fall weather and morning lighting, beautiful scenery, and gorgeous colors. It was even more sentimental for them because this was the exact same spot where Cliff proposed! Taking portraits for your BFF's is so much fun, and seeing their reactions during the photo reveal was a great moment.
Keeping with their Fall Wedding theme, I designed their Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations. I created them keeping in mind all the good things their wedding will consist of: Gorgeous Fall leaves outdoors, the Plum and Grey Colors of gowns and suits, and lovely rural decor with burlap and wood shades.
Thanks again Cliff + Evie for allowing me to play a role in your big day, and I cannot wait to be a bridesmaid! Congratulations again to the two of you!
Here are some of my personal favorites from C+E's engagement session:
Carrying these pumpkins all the way to this spot was definitely an interesting adventure to say the least LOL! Thank goodness their were four of us!
Look at the way they look at each other!! So CUTE!
Cliff Suggested this spot, and it was utter perfection! Such a charming town.
P.S. Evie: Happy early 22nd Birthday!!!
